The personal and professional life of NHL hockey player Pierre Lambert. This series depicts accurately the underworld of hockey, a (almost) real behind-the-scenes look.

The year following the Stanley Cup victory, Pierre Lambert is chosen to play in a World Cup Tournament in Europe and Canada. However, he must cope with the breakup of his current girlfriend, then being chased by a crazed and doped photograph, and being harassed by his father-in-law who's the coach of Team Canada, fearing his "depression" may affect the team. He seems to find love with a cop's daughter, however, he must also cope with his sister's Suzy relationship with a french hockey player who has cancer, and befriends a Soviet player who dreams of defecting the USSR, whose lover is a KGB agent... Can he still get out of these situations and help Team Canada win the coveted championship ?

A bygone symbol of the luxury of yesteryear and a true institution in a provincial town, the "Grand Magasin" is living its last hours. Indeed, the management, which can no longer afford the establishment, is preparing to sell the store to a large distribution group. Agathe, a saleswoman in the men's department for more than 25 years, is shocked to discover that all the staff will be laid off. Feeling both betrayed and responsible for the future of the "Grand Magasin", she becomes a passionaria, leading her colleagues to revolt, a true leader. The operation finally seems to bear fruit when the sale is cancelled and a new director is appointed.

Rémi Tremblay, a young hardworking low-level manager is demoted because of an alleged lack of zeal. Cut to the quick, he decides to move into his office in order to devote himself to his company 24/7. His ambitious boss, Georges Quintal, not impressed by this sudden change of heart and worried that it may threaten his good standing with the president, vows to get him fired.
